MFJCF- AU Bassi Awareness talk on organ donation at Doodhli Panchayat, Jaipur, Rajasthan

On 5 September 2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum – Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation with the help AU Small Finance Bank at Doodhli Panchayat, Jaipur.

Ms. Renu Uba and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team.

Ms. Prem Devi Meena (Sarpanch), Mr. Ramesh Chand Sharma (Gram Sevak) along with 40 villagers attended the session and thanked MFJCF team to conduct such program in Panchayat.

Mr. Parag Vyas also attended the session on behalf of AU Small Finance Bank.

During the presentation Ms. Renu Uba covered following aspects

1. Cardiac and Brain Death.

2. Reason of Kidney Failure.

3. Save someone’s life through organ donation.

Some questions were also asked by villagers which were answered by members.

1. Can we meet recipient after organ donation?
2. How long it will take to recipient to get back in normal life?
3. Can I sell my organs?

After the program all villagers picked up the donor cards and promised to spread awareness organ donation.
