Felicitation Program for Donor Families and Donor Optimization Team

On 8^th August 2016 a felicitation program was held at SMS auditorium in presence of Health minister (Mr. Rajendra Rathore).

Honorable Minister started the program by lighting the lamp. During this program all senior doctors were present.
Including (Trauma Head: – Jagdish Modi, Medical superintendent: – Man Prakash Sharma, Dr. Jogindra, Dr. Jitendra Hingonia Ji, Dr. Tomar (Urology).Hemlata Shah (Member Navjeevan) hosted the program. Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani (convener) Navjeevan was present with the complete NAVJEEVAN team.

Donor optimization staff (SMS Trauma) for their excellent performance towards their profession & Donor Families were felicitated by Honorable Minister.

Honorable Minister appreciated the cause during his speech, and appealed to people to join this cause and become a life donor.

Dr. Manish Sharma gave a presentation on brain death and explained various factors ie: – what is brain death, what is the process of declaring brain death, what are the necessary tests for declaring someone brain dead.

More than 500 Students of SMS Nursing college attended the program and cleared their misconceptions about organ donation and pledged for Organ Donation.
