MFJCF celebrated International Women’s Day to honor the power and dedication of women coming from varied walks of life, who changed society by thinking differently and independently. A panel discussion was organised on the 6th March 2021 at Jawahar Kala Kendra and the following women were on the panel:

Dr. Prabha Thakur, Former Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Former President – All India Mahila Congress spoke about experiences from her career and facing bias as a woman.

Ms. Sonali Rathore, a well-known singer, shared how her husband encouraged her to resume her career when their child was about 5 months old.

Ms. Kalpana Agarwal – RAS, Joint Secretary to Government, Relief Department, Jaipur.

The event was attended by Mr. Rajiv Arora – Chairman, MFJCF; Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani – Convener, MFJCF; Mr. Ravi Kamra, Mr. Deepak Tatia, Mr. Govind Gurbani and other core members of MFJCF.

The following eminent doctors and transplant professionals were felicitated in recognition of the work they have been doing for the cause

 

1 Dr. Chitra Singh Was part of the 1st cadaveric transplant of Rajasthan. An anesthesiologist, she is part of the organ transplant programme in SMS Hospital.
2 Dr. Aradhana Singh Associate Professor, Department of Medicine in SMS Medical College. She is involved in the evaluation of brain-dead patients.
3 Dr. Meenu Bagarhatta Professor and Head of the Department of Radiodiagnosis at SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur.
4 Dr. Rajni Mathur Senior Professor (Anesthesiology) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, SMS Hospital. During the COVID pandemic she worked in RUHS Hospital, attending to critically ill patients in ICU.
5 Dr. Shitu Singh Director ILD & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic

6 Ms. Sunita Meena IPS Addl. DCP; awarded by DM Jaipur
7 Ms. Kavita Sharma Working as a Renal & Nephro Coordinator in EHCC Hospital, Jaipur
8 Ms. Nidhi Anand Kapoor Trained transplant coordinator from MOHAN Foundation working in Narayana Multispeciality Hospital Jaipur since 2010.
9 Ms. Jyoti Kewalramani Manager – patient care and transplant coordinator at Monilek Hospital, Jaipur
