Awareness talk at Rajasthan Police Academy

MFJCF conducted an awareness talk on Organ donation and transplantation at the Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur on the 18th of June 2022.

Dr. Anita Hada, Member of MFJCF conducted the talk. Rajeev Sharma, IPS (ADGP cum Director, RPA) along with 250 police constables and RPA officers were present. The team described organ donation through the presentation and recipient video stories. Around 200 people pledged as organ donors.

She talked about the following points:

• What is organ donation and what are the types of donations?
• Who can be a donor?
• Difference between natural death and brain death.
• What organs can be donated after natural and brain death?
• Importance of donor card.
