Organ Donation Month Begins with Lord Ganesha’s Blessings

As part of the Government of India’s Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s initiative, a public awareness campaign titled “Angdan Jagurkta Abhiyan” has been launched, designating July 2024 as Organ Donation Month and August 3rd as Organ Donation Day. Leading this initiative in Rajasthan, the Mohan Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum has organized various events up to August 3rd. The campaign kicked off with a Ganesh Pooja at Moti Dungri Ganesh Mandir, followed by a yoga performance by Nursery Yog Pariwar outside the temple on 7^th July featuring organ donation posters. Awareness brochures were distributed, and devotees participated in a photo campaign showing their support for organ donation.
